The Jackson Municipal Airport Authority ("JMAA'') is seeking electronic proposals ("Proposal") for Board Counsel Legal Services. Sealed Proposals to perform the services identified in Exhibit 9 hereto will be accepted at 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time (CST) on Tuesday, May 02, 2023 (the "Proposal Deadline").

The following identification information must be provided with the submission:
(i) Attention: Marvin Buckhalter, Director of Procurement Officer;
and (ii) the wording: "Board Counsel for Legal Services, Project No. 014-23." If the Proposal is submitted electronically, the identification information must be provided in the subject line. If the Proposal is submitted by hand delivery or mail, the identification information must be marked on the exterior of the envelope or package containing the Proposal.

JMAA will not consider any Proposals received after the Deadline for any reason whatsoever. Information for Respondents relating to this Request for Proposals ("RFP") is on file and open for public inspection at the offices of JMAA. The Information for Respondents contains a copy of the RFP, General Information for Respondents, Information Required from Respondents and Criteria for Selection. Interested persons may obtain a copy of the Information for Respondents from JMAA by contacting Marvin Buckhalter, as follows:

Based on the Proposals received and the scoring of each proposal, JMAA will initiate negotiations withthe Respondent ranked first. If such negotiations fail to produce an agreement in form and content, satisfactory to JMAA, within a reasonable period of time, then JMAA may reject the first-ranked Respondent and follow the same process with the other Respondents, in the order of their ranking, until a Respondent agrees and enters into a contract satisfactory to JMAA.

JMAA reserves the right to reject any and all Proposals, for any reason, any time before execution of a contract with a Respondent selected by JMAA to perform the Services. Up to ten (10) points may be awarded to Respondents submitting a Proposal with minority participation for the Services.
